2. Why Sleep is Important

Great sleep is the single biggest driver of overall health and wellness. Deep sleep enables the body’s natural systems to rest, recover, and revitalize - ensuring that we are physically, mentally and emotionally energized. In fact, a recent Harvard Medical School study reported, “A good night’s sleep helps foster both mental and emotional resilience, while chronic sleep deprivation sets the stage for negative thinking, emotional vulnerability and mental illness”.

3. How It Works

The Sleep Performance Program was designed by Dr. Jason Kolber, a world-leading expert on the nervous system and human performance, trusted as the Performance Expert for the Arizona Diamondbacks (and formerly the Boston Red Sox), Arizona Coyotes, and Arizona State University.

The program comprises 3 key components: 1) a daily text journal, 2) a library of sleep strategies, and 3) sleep supplementation.

 

Daily Text Journal

You will receive 3 texts per day. 2 in the morning asking your to rate how refreshed you feel and the quality of your sleep, and 1 in the evening sharing sleep strategies, tips, and reflective questions. Please respond to all three texts. On Sunday afternoons you will receive an additional text with a secure link to your weekly journal containing all of the daily questions and responses, providing an opportunity to reflect on your sleep behaviors and progress.

 

Sleep Strategy Library

Each evening text will be accompanied by a link to additional information containing video content about the sleep strategy and tip.

 

Sleep Supplementation

To help your body regulate sleep and recovery, our program includes Refresh, a sleep supplement that calms your nervous system to help you fall asleep, stay asleep, and wake up refreshed. Refresh is non-addictive and works to gently support your body's nervous system and natural sleep cycle.

We recommend taking 2 capsules one hour prior to bedtime for the first week to help reset your nervous system. Following this you can maintain 2 capsules or if you feel you are sleeping too well, reduce to a single capsule thirty minutes prior to bedtime.
